Supportive programs and social events for individuals with diabilities


Everyone deserves a place to belong. Our Adaptive Programs provide welcoming, supportive experiences for individuals with disabilities and their families, with opportunities to build friendships, try new activities, and stay active. From sensory-friendly evenings and social events to adaptive sports and fitness classes, there is something for youth, teens, and adults this season!

The Adaptive Participant Form must be completed and on file prior to attending adaptive programs. 

Adaptive Programs Sampler


 
Sensory Swim Time

A specialty swim time designed for individuals with sensory sensitivities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, or other neurological differences and their families. The pool is closed to the public with limited capacity, water features turned off, and minimal noise for a calmer experience.

WHO: Individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families
WHEN: Saturday, February 21, 5:45–7:45 pm (Check-in 5:30–6:15 pm)
FEE: FREE for members, $5 non-members

Children must remain within arm’s reach of an adult at all times. Supervision is not provided.

Adaptive Parents Night Out

A safe, welcoming and sensory-friendly environment where participants with disabilities and their siblings can enjoy a variety of activities and social time while guardians enjoy an evening to themselves! Dinner is provided.

WHO: Ages 6–12
WHEN: Fridays, 6–8:30pm, February 27 and April 24
FEE: $30 members, $45 non-members

Club Connect

The perfect way for teens and young adults with disabilities to build friendships in a fun, supportive environment. Dinner is provided.

FEE: $30 members, $45 non-members

Friday Night Social

A monthly social event for adults with disabilities. Have fun in a supportive environment and connect with others. Dinner is provided.

Spring Fling Dance

An inclusive evening for individuals with disabilities and their families, featuring a live DJ and light refreshments. A sensory space will be available.

Play Your Way Sports Sampler

This 6-week adaptive sports series for youth with disabilities features activities like basketball, dance, and pickleball, with a focus on fun and trying new things.

LEVELS: All Levels
WHO: Ages 8–15
WHEN: Tuesdays, 5:30–6:30pm, April 14–May 19
FEE: $85 members, $115 for non-members

Adaptive Fitness and Wellness

A class to advance stability, mobility, endurance and flexibility in a fun way. Modifications available for varying fitness levels.

LEVELS: 1, 2 and 3
WHO: Ages 18+
WHEN: Thursdays, 4–5pm
Session 1: Feb 12–Mar 19
Session 2: Apr 2–May 7
FEE: $60 members, $75 for non-members
